Blind Kitten Finds a Home
Your Generosity Made it Happen

In early December 2006, a Good Samaritan brought a stray orange tabby kitten to the League. The League’s Animal Care Technicians immediately noticed that something was wrong with the kitten’s eyes. They were unusually small and looked shrunken. During an examination of the kitten, one of the League’s volunteer visiting veterinarians determined that the kitten, which we named Nellie, had a birth defect called micropthalmia. Read more...
