Hi, my name is Jack and I want to tell you about my stay at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.
When I arrived everyone was so nice to me even though the front office staff was so busy helping other animals and people.
They got all kinds of information about me and put it in their computer system.
I saw cool portraits of visitors just like me...
...and names of all the generous donors who helped renovate my new home in 2001.
Then I was introduced to my new room and met the Animal Care Staff -- my new best friends!
There were tons of toys for me to play with..
...a huge backyard for me to run and play fetch...
...and I made lots of new friends!
Later the Animal Care Staff "received" me, which means they gave me a good check up and a clean bill of health.
Then more friendly staff members took me out to play to get to know me better...
...my new friends even taught me some tricks!
While I was out, I spied more friends in the critter room...
...and saw that the cats had lots of toys to play with, too...
...and I found out that they like to play as much as I do!
I also snuck a peek at a little kitten getting a "clean bill of health" just like me!
I met Brutus, the shelter mascot...
...and Kay, the Executive Director.
Soon the staff helped me find a new home but before I left I got to go shopping for lots of new toys to take with me!
Like this happy dog, I left the Animal Welfare League with my new best friend!
What a great place to visit! Thanks, Animal Welfare League of Arlington, for taking such great care of me!
