Christina Byrnes is a Deputy Animal Control Officer with 10 years of experience working in the animal field. She began her career working at a veterinary office in Las Vegas, NV as a kennel attendant, working her way up to receptionist and veterinary assistant. In 2015, she was hired at the local animal shelter in Phenix City, AL where she found her love of animal welfare. After moving to Northern Virginia in 2019, she began working as a Foster and Rescue Coordinator Assistant for Fairfax County. Christina was brought on by the League in November of 2019 as a Deputy Animal Control Officer where she found her true calling.
