Diamond is a big guy with an even bigger heart! He loves sniffing around our yard but is equally happy to hop up next to our volunteers on a bench for a good chest rub. Diamond has found himself here at the shelter after his owner passed away, so he's hoping to find a new family that will love him just as much! His foster family told us: “Diamond is lovable, and bonds very quickly with humans. He is a large dog but thinks he is a lapdog. He loves head rubs, belly rubs, and cuddling with his humans. He really loves laying next to us on the couch and knows which furniture he is permitted on, and which he isn't. He is very smart and has learned a few words since he has been here, particularly the words “liverwurst” and “spam”! He loves playing, especially catch. We often play in the yard, but if it's too hot, we have actually played catch in the house (please don't tell our sons that, since they were never permitted to do that)! Would do best as the only animal in the home.
