Ivy's foster family told us: “Ivy is the sweetest cuddle-bug you'll ever meet. She's friendly and likes meeting new people – especially if those people will pet her. She'd make an excellent companion for anyone who likes a good snuggle. Ivy is quite smart and picks up new tricks easily. Ivy's favorite things are: snuggling up with her people, pets, treats, playing outside, walks, and napping. Her special talents are: being very affectionate, loving, and loyal. She's also housetrained and can be trusted to roam the house unsupervised all day.
Ivy's perfect day would be: waking up with some cuddles, then eating breakfast and taking a long, leisurely walk outside. After a nap, she'd love to play fetch or tug-of-war. Then she would like to hang out with her human while they go about their day. In the evening, she'd like another walk, some dinner, and couch cuddles until she starts snoring. After a short doze, she'd like to either sleep at the foot of her human's bed or be tucked into her own.
Important facts about Ivy: Ivy has the cuteness and eyes of a puppy, but the maturity, calm, and good behavior of an adult. She loves car rides, hikes, and squeaky toys. She tends to be very quiet, but occasionally will bark at other dogs if they bark at her first. When snuggling, Ivy isn't big on personal space, and would rather be cuddled up as close to her person as she can be. She's a very wonderful, easygoing dog that should transition easily into a forever home.”
