This is your chance to make your pet a local celebrity\, with their photo on the cover of our 2020/2021 calendar (yep\, that’s right\, this year we’re printing a 16-month calendar)! \nEach photo entry and vote equals life-saving funds that care for animals in need. From tiny kittens\, senior pups\, injured wildlife\, pet parents in need\, and everything in between\, your support guides us on our mission to improve the lives of pets and people in Arlington County. \nSo what are you waiting for? We KNOW you have adorable photos of your pet on your phone – and if you don’t it’s time to start snapping! May the cutest pet win! ENTER HERE! \nNEW THIS YEAR:\nThis time around we will be printing a 16-month 2020/21 calendar!\nIn order to continue practicing social distancing\, ALL calendars will be shipped directly to anyone who enters the contest or purchases a calendar. All orders must be placed by June 30th in order to have a calendar(s) shipped to you. \nGrand Prize (1) \nYour pet’s photo on the cover of our 2020 calendar!\nA professional photo-shoot with Mike Leonard Photo*.\nA feature on the inside cover of the calendar.\nYour pet’s photo featured on the home-page of our website for one month.\nAn 8×10 original watercolor portrait of your pet by Alexandra Schmeling.\nA $100 gift card to AWLA’s online merch store.\n*Due to social distancing\, this is only available for pets that can be safely taken outdoors. \n1st Place Prize (16)\nNEW THIS YEAR – as this year’s calendar will be a 16-month calendar\, the next 16 pets with the most votes will have their photo featured for a specific month on a half-page of the calendar (½ page\, above-the-fold). \n2nd Place Prize (32)\nNEW THIS YEAR – the next 32 pets with the most votes will have their photo featured for a specific month on a quarter-page of the calendar (1/4 page\, above-the-fold). \nEveryone’s A Winner!\nThe remaining pets will be featured in order of votes received. No matter how many votes your pet receives\, they will be a part of the calendar!
