Sky

Sky is a playful, quirky girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Her perfect day starts with cozy morning cuddles, ideally tucked completely under a blanket when it’s chilly, and ends belly-up after a full day of fun, happily snoozing.

This happy pup lives for playtime; tennis balls are her favorite and she’ll fetch for as long as you’re willing to throw! Stuffed animals bring her instant joy, and she’s always ready for a good game of tug-of-war. She also loves treat puzzle toys that keep her mind busy and her tail wagging. When she’s not playing, Sky enjoys keeping watch from the window, going on long sniff-filled walks, and enthusiastically participating in her full-time job: chasing squirrels!

Sky is smart, eager to learn, and would thrive with someone who enjoys continuing her training and helping her build confidence. When it comes to people, Sky just needs a little time to feel safe. She can be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, she begins to open up. Once she does, her playful and affectionate personality really shines. Physical affection takes a bit longer, but once you’re in her circle, she loves curling up in laps and soaking up attention.

Sky isn’t a fan of cats and is still figuring out how she feels about other dogs. She can play a bit rough, so a meet-and-greet is important to make sure it’s a good match. She takes her role as a watchdog seriously unless it’s the vacuum, in which case she has a lot to say about it.

Sky would do best with a patient, loving adopter who appreciates her playful spirit and gives her the time she needs to fully shine. In return, she’ll be a loyal companion who makes you laugh, keeps you active, and snuggles up close at the end of every day.
