Cardy

Dill and Cardamom are two bonded sisters who are looking for a very special home together! They came in as older kittens and were quite frightened of humans at the time, but they have have been working on socialization with their foster mom. The two of them have come so far but still have a bit to go, and they are looking for just the right person to help get them there.

What these two girls are: smart, silly, sweet, playful, very treat motivated(!)

What these two girls are not (yet): lap cats, accepting of random petting

Dill and Cardamom are very comfortable in a home and have discovered they enjoy the finer things in life, like cushy beds they can cuddle on together, high-end food, and copious treats. They also love interactive play with humans and will play for as long as you are willing! They like being around their foster mom and are always happy to hang out nearby. They will climb up into their foster mom’s lap for treats, but don’t like to be pet as someone walks by them. At this point in time Dill is amenable to being briefly picked up in the right circumstances, but Cardamom is not quite there yet. (They are still making progress every day though, and their foster mom notices positive changes all the time!)

This pair are not fans of sudden movement and unexpected noises, and thus would likely do best in a quiet home. They have tolerated adult cats well, as those cats have generally understood how to respect their boundaries. They likely will take some time to settle into their new home as they re-learn that they are safe and loved.
