Safe Around Dogs with Kids C.A.R.E. Club

Help your child learn how to stay safe around dogs while building confidence and compassion. In this Kids C.A.R.E. Club session, children ages 4–10 will explore dog body language, practice safe greetings, and learn what to do in everyday situations—at home, at the park, or when meeting a new furry friend. Through games, role-playing, and hands-on activities, kids will develop their S.A.F.E. skills in a fun and supportive environment.

This class is part of AWLA’s youth education programming designed to teach responsible pet interaction, animal welfare, and kindness toward animals in our community.
