About Me

Meet Jumping Jack, a spry Chihuahua-Terrier mix with a loving personality! He has lots of pep in his step even for a 12-year old and his favorite thing to do is whatever you’re doing. From being a star shopping companion, to cozily sleeping in on snow days, he’s happiest when he’s next to you. He is a total social butterfly, loves meeting new people, and is a perfect gentleman when meeting other pups on walks.

He is happiest when together, so he would do best with a family that can be with him most of the time and would prefer children to be his age or older. Don’t worry – he’s a perfect work-from-home assistant and when winter’s over he can’t wait to hang out on a patio! Because of his size and age, he does need structured bathroom breaks but is housetrained.

Medically, Jumping Jack has been evaluated by a veterinary cardiologist and diagnosed with mild degenerative valve disease, which is common in older small dogs. His heart function is currently good, and he easily takes his medication to help support his heart and delay progression! Routine follow-ups will help keep him feeling his best, and a dental cleaning is recommended in the future.

If you are interested in adopting Jumping Jack, please send an email to amina.aitbella@gmail.com to arrange an initial virtual meet & greet with the pet’s foster parent or a staff member. They will reply to you within 24-48 hours.
