Toby

Toby is a small dog with a thoughtful heart who is looking for a patient person to help him feel safe in the world. At just about 12 pounds and around three years old, this little guy may be small in size but he has a sensitive and observant personality. He takes his time getting to know new people and places, but with patience and kindness his confidence continues to grow.

A calm home that allows him time to decompress and settle in will help him thrive. Once he realizes he is safe, Toby has all the potential to form a deep bond with his family.

He would likely do best in a quieter home with adults or older children who can understand that shy dogs need time and patience.
