About Me
Meet Kiara, Shy Girl Turned Wiggle Machine
Kiara might start off a little shy, but give her a soft voice and a few cheese treats and you’ll quickly see her sweet personality shine. When we first met, she was curled up on her bed with her head between her paws, quietly watching. A few tossed treats got her tail wagging, and soon she was popping up to grab cheese from her kennel and coming forward with full-body wiggles. She was a little unsure when the leash first went on and crouched briefly, but with gentle encouragement and lots of treats she worked through it like a champ. Once she realized everything was safe (and the cheese kept coming!), Kiara blossomed into a playful, goofy puppy. After a quick shake-off she zoomed around the room with perked ears and a loose, happy tail. She loved shoulder scratches, responded to playful bows, and happily bounced around sometimes even jumping right into a lap for attention. She may occasionally show submissive urination when she’s feeling overwhelmed, which is a normal confidence-related behavior and not a potty-training issue.
Kiara is a young pup just moving out of her early socialization period and heading into adolescence, so she’ll benefit from a patient family who can help build her confidence and guide her through this next stage of puppyhood. With positive introductions, consistency, and maybe a pocket full of cheese, Kiara quickly turns into a wiggly, affectionate little companion who’s ready to love her people.
