About Me
Meet Banjo
A sweet, loyal boy who loves spending time with people, enjoying the outdoors, and lazing about the house.
Banjo tends to warm up quickly to new people, enjoying their pets. He often sits close by and even leans on people as he sits by their feet or next to them on a park bench or sofa. Whether on a walk or just hanging out in the backyard, Banjo just loves time outside, relaxing in the fresh air. He’ll happily keep you company as you sunbathe or work in the garden.
Banjo is house trained and has excellent leash skills.
Banjo would do best in an all-adult household, or one with older, dog-savvy children who understand “consent to pet,” can read his body language, and respect his boundaries.
Banjo may show some reactivity to unfamiliar people or dogs on leash or during introductions, so his future family should be open to continuing his training with positive reinforcement. Training classes will help build his confidence and strengthen his skills.
If you are seeking a friendly, calm, emotive companion with whom you can share outdoor adventures, sunny lounging sessions, and quiet time at home, Banjo is your dog!
If you are interested in adopting Banjo, please send an email to hackermiriam@gmail.com. to arrange an initial virtual meet & greet with the pet’s foster parent or a staff member. They will reply to you within 24-48 hours.
