Is your pet ready for their close-up?

Our most adorable fundraiser of the year is almost here! Submit your pet’s photo, rally your friends for votes, and help animals in need — at our shelter and across the community — while giving your best friend a chance to shine.

  • Voting: October 25–31
  • Winners announced: November 1

Who Can Enter

All pets are welcome — dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and small animals. Your pet doesn’t have to be adopted from AWLA to participate.

How It Works

  1. Enter your pet with a favorite photo and a short story (Oct 20–24).
  2. Share your pet’s page and invite friends & family to vote (Oct 25–31).
  3. Each $1 = 1 vote. The more votes, the better the chance to be featured!

Prizes

  • Cover Pet: The top overall vote-getter appears on the calendar cover.
  • 12 Monthly Stars: The next 12 pets with the most votes are featured as Pets of the Month.
  • All entrants: Every pet appears somewhere in the calendar (collage pages).

Reserve a Date to Honor Your Pet!

Everyone appears in the calendar — and you can make your pet’s day extra special by reserving a specific date (birthday, “gotcha day,” or just because).

  • $50 donation reserves your date (first-come, first-served).
  • Include a short inspirational message (up to 25 characters) with your pet’s photo.
  • Calendars sold separately.
