Alyssa Williamson is the Chief Human Resources Officer for the City of Alexandria, where she leads strategy and operations supporting 2,500 City employees. Outside of work, she performs with local music groups like DC Flutes and the Arlington Concert Orchestra, and volunteers with organizations that expand access to music, education, and animal companionship. A graduate of the 2022 Ignite Young Professionals program and the Leadership Alexandria Class of 2025, Alyssa supports AWLA for its commitment to reducing barriers to pet ownership and ensuring everyone has access to the life-affirming love of a pet. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband Josh and their rescue pit bulls, Anne and Dale.
