Nikki brings over 19 years of experience as a partner at Krooth & Altman, LLP, where she specializes in representing mortgage lenders across diverse commercial real estate financing transactions. Her practice focuses particularly on healthcare facilities, including hospitals and nursing homes, as well as multifamily housing projects involving the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Beyond her legal practice, Nikki serves as General Counsel for The Andrew Keegan Theatre Company, a Washington DC semi-professional theater. In this pro bono role, she has guided the company through complex matters including theater acquisition, construction loan documentation, zoning challenges, and general corporate and nonprofit governance.

Nikki’s passion for theater extends far beyond legal counsel. She has contributed to the local theater community as a stage manager, producer, assistant director, performer, and backstage crew member with Keegan Theatre and other regional companies. Her leadership experience includes a decade-long tenure on The Arlington Players’ Board of Directors, three years of which she served as President.

At home in Arlington, Nikki shares her space with two rescued senior cats, Grasshopper and Spirit, a bonded pair from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA). She actively volunteers with AWLA through their foster program and kennel maintenance efforts.
