About Me
Meet Athena!
Athena is a sweet, happy girl who loves to hang around people and get a lot of affection (and treats!) Athena was surrendered at no fault of her own by her previous family. She has successfully lived with children, cats, and other dogs.
Athena has vision loss so when you spend time with her you will notice she might bump into foreign obstacles. Because of this, we ask that Athena’s new family spend extra care making sure she feels safe and comfortable in her new home.
In our shelter she loves to interact with staff, sniff around outside, and relax to 90s R&B.

If you are interested in adopting Athena, please send an email to adoptions@awla.org to arrange an initial virtual meet & greet with the pet’s foster parent or a staff member. They will reply to you within 24-48 hours.
