Meet Bella Hadid!
Because of Bella’s socialization history, Bella must go to a home with a confident cat or kitten to help her gain confidence. Bella would also do best in a quieter home with older cat savvy children who will understand and respect her body language.
Bella is a sweet kitten who may need a little extra time to feel comfortable in a new home. New people, unfamiliar surroundings, and all the changes that come with adoption can be overwhelming, so she will do best with a patient adopter who is willing to let her set the pace.
At first, Bella may be shy, hide, or take some time before feeling comfortable enough to interact. This isn’t a reflection of how much love she has to give. It simply means she needs time to learn that her new home is a safe place.
The best way to help Bella Hadid blossom is to give her choices, respect her boundaries, and avoid rushing interactions. A quiet space, predictable routine, gentle voices, and positive experiences can go a long way toward building confidence.
Treats, toys, playtime, and other positive rewards can help create wonderful associations with people and the new environment. As Bella becomes more comfortable, you may begin to see those little glimpses of personality and watching a shy kitten transform into a confident companion can be incredibly rewarding!
