Meet Chibi

Chibi is a sweet and affectionate cat who has so much love to give when you understand and respect his boundaries. He’s the kind of companion who forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people, but he prefers to build that trust on his own terms and at his own pace.

Chibi would do best in a quiet, adult-only home where he can feel safe and relaxed without the unpredictability of a busy environment. His new family should be prepared to give him time, patience, and plenty of space as he adjusts to his new surroundings.

To help him get off to the best start, Chibi will need a dedicated, small “decompression” area when he first comes home. Keeping his world limited at the beginning will help him feel secure and prevent him from becoming overwhelmed. He should remain in this cozy space until he’s showing consistent signs of trust and confidence, and then be gradually introduced to more of the home.

It’s important that his adopters keep social pressure low letting Chibi approach when he’s ready and always respecting his body language. With this thoughtful, gentle approach, his affectionate and loving personality will shine more and more each day.
