Duke

If there is one thing Duke wants you to know about him, it’s that he LIVES for his treats! He knows the rustle of the treat bag being opened and quickly makes his way to the front of his condo where he politely…yet persistently…asks for his share (and he will most likely try to dupe you into giving him a little extra by continuing his excited whistles and squeaks). He’s getting much better at taking the treats nicely from someone’s fingers. It’s just so hard sometimes to not get over-excited when they taste so good! Duke may start out a little shy with someone new, but with a little time and positive reinforcement, he gets notably more social and happy with his people. Once he finds his confidence, he happily perches on your lap and gives affectionate nibbles to your fingers as you give him a good scratch behind the ears and stroke his back.
