Fifi

Hi! My name is Fifi, and I’m almost a year old but have already spent so much time in the shelter. I first came here with my mom and litter mates last summer, and then I was returned because my human mom found out she was allergic. So now I’m enjoying my foster home (with two foster sibling cats and one foster sibling dog!) while I wait for my next adoptive home. I am definitely hesitant around new things, but my foster sibling dog helps me gain confidence and we are having the best time playing together and just hanging out. I’m pretty good on the leash, not a big puller, but I also don’t know how to walk a straight line, so please be patient with me 🙂 But mostly leash walks are a great chance for me to build trust with my human and my dog friend. In fact, I’m less stressed when I have my dog friend around, so I would love to find an adoptive home with another dog (who loves to play! because I’m still a teenager). I’m pretty okay with cats, because once they let me know they are the boss I completely respect their space. I’m learning some basic obedience, but mainly I respond to my foster mom’s voice because I’ve learned to trust her. I’d love to form the same relationship with you!
