Meet Hanson!
Hanson is a newly three legged cat learning to navigate his new life with optimism and confidence.
On 7/1/2026 our shelter took in a stray cat in a bad shape. His front left paw was seriously injured and beyond repair. With some quick thinking our staff was able to transport Hanson to our partner emergency vet, who performed a life saving amputation on Hanson’s front left leg.
Hanson is learning how to navigate his new life with a lot of tender love and care from our staff – and lots of treats! Hanson loves treats and is learning to ask for gentle pets from his human caretakers. He is a sweet cat in need of a loving home to help him become more comfortable with his new three legged life.
