About Me
Hudson is a stunning Alaskan Malamute mix with a presence as cool and majestic as the mountains he looks built for. Around the shelter, our trainer affectionately calls him the “aloof floof”, and the nickname couldn’t be more perfect! He’s not the “where’s my hug?” type, but he has a quiet charm all his own.
Hudson is housebroken and loves spending time outdoors-he’s always eager to head out to the yard, running happily through the treat tunnel to explore and stretch his legs. While he’s not always a fan of regular dog food, he’s happy to take medications in turkey slices and enjoys the occasional wet food treat.
Though independent, Hudson has a playful side that emerges once he feels comfortable. He enjoys a few behind-the-ear scratchies but is just as content being admired from afar, taking in the world with quiet confidence.
Hudson is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who appreciates a gentle, independent spirit and can let him blossom at his own pace. If you’re ready to welcome an aloof floof into your life, Hudson might just be the perfect companion.
