About Me

Meet Loki

A beautiful senior cat looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. Loki would do best in a calm home with older teenage children who will be respectful of her body language and mindful not to overwhelm her. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as she does not want to live with dogs or other cats.

This is what Loki’s previous owner had to say “Loki would seek me out whenever she could, particularly when the house got quiet. Whenever I’d be at my computer in my downstairs office, particularly at night, she’d hop on my desk with a sweet, happy meow and find a way to snuggle on my lap. Then she’d just purr and purr. Loki also enjoyed keeping me company whenever I played my classical guitar. She would unfailingly pop out from wherever she was, settle down nearby, and just relax. She really seemed to enjoy the guitar playing. An activity she still enjoys, despite her years, is fetch with hair ties. When she’s particularly playful, she’ll give what sound like loud, mournful meows, and then she’ll appear with a hair tie and drop it nearby for me to play with her. She’s an incredibly sweet and gentle cat with those she bonds with. She just needs a more low-intensity home.”

As a senior cat, Loki will need adopters who are willing to move slowly with her and give her time to adjust to her new environment. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she enjoys gentle companionship and a peaceful place to call her own.

Loki is the perfect match for someone looking for a calm, quiet companion and who understands that the best relationships are built with patience, respect, and love. If you’re looking to give a sweet senior cat a quiet forever home, Loki may be the perfect fit for you.
