I’m a kitten still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place! Since my early socialization history is unknown, I may need a little extra time and patience as I adjust to new people, new environments, and life in my new home. My family should be prepared to let me set the pace, pay attention to my body language, and give me space when I need it.
The best way to start building our relationship is through play! Wand toys are a great way for us to have fun together without asking me to be too close before I’m ready. Food puzzles and foraging games are also wonderful ways to help me build confidence and show off my problem-solving skills.
Give me time, patience, and plenty of positive experiences, and you’ll get to watch my confidence-and my personality-grow!
