About Me
Riley came to us when his family was moving and, unfortunately, couldn’t take him along. While that’s not the ending he expected, we’re determined to help him find the happy new beginning he deserves.
This handsome teenager is equal parts goofy, sweet, and just a little sensitive. New people and unfamiliar places can make him feel unsure at first, but Riley is proving every day that bravery doesn’t mean never being scared it means taking those big feelings one step at a time. We’ve already watched him grow more confident on his walks, and it’s been so rewarding to see. Riley is looking for a family that understands it’s okay to go at his pace. With patience, encouragement, and plenty of positive experiences, he’s ready to keep building his confidence.
Like any teenage pup, Riley has energy to spare and a curious mind to match, so he’ll thrive with plenty of enrichment, adventures, and opportunities to learn. And according to his previous family, once he knows you, he’s an absolute sweetheart who loves attention, enjoys a good play session, and has one of the most unexpected favorite snacks around… fruits and veggies! (Who needs fancy treats when you’re excited about veggies?)
