About Me

Sasha is a silly, spunky, and incredibly sweet girl who brings joy wherever she goes. From the very first day she met her foster family, she showed her warm and loving nature and she’s only continued to blossom more with each passing day.
Sasha is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves cuddles (in short, happy bursts before she’s off on her next adventure) and will even try to “hug” you by standing up on her hind legs. Around the house, she enjoys following her people, joining in on playtime, and just being part of the action.

This fun-loving pup is a big fan of walks and is learning great leash manners. She’s been practicing sitting at crosswalks and is making steady progress, though she may pull occasionally when something exciting catches her attention. Her foster’s say that “Sasha is highly treat-motivated. So much so that she’ll tolerate bath time in exchange for a few tasty rewards (even if she hops out of the tub once or twice!).”

Playtime is one of Sasha’s favorite things. She loves tug-of-war, playing independently with her toys, and using her brain to sniff out hidden treats around the house. She’s even been working on her athletic skills and can now catch toys mid-air during fetch! Sasha is generally friendly with people and warms up quickly, though she can sometimes feel unsure when unfamiliar individuals approach in public. Because of this, she would likely thrive in a quieter home with older children or adults who can help her feel safe and supported.

her foster’s noticed “When it comes to other dogs, Sasha shows mixed but promising signals. She often wags her tail when she sees other pups especially puppies but can occasionally feel unsure and may bark or try to approach them. Interestingly, she’s able to calmly pass many dogs on walks without reacting, even if they bark at her. With proper introductions and guidance, she may enjoy having doggy friends.” Sasha is doing wonderfully with her home routines. She sleeps well in her crate, keeps herself entertained, and patiently waits for her people in the morning. She’s had no accidents and will give subtle cues like sniffing her leash when she needs to go out, though she does best on a consistent schedule. She’s generally not very vocal, aside from excited moments like gearing up for a walk or during playtime.

Like many young dogs, Sasha can feel a bit anxious at times, especially when left alone or crated overnight away from her people. However, she recovers well and benefits greatly from exercise, routine, and reassurance. She has a positive relationship with her crate and enjoys cozy comforts like soft blankets just be aware she might stash a few “treasures” in there! Sasha is truly a special dog instantly lovable and full of personality, with so much love to give. She’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will continue to guide her and celebrate all the wonderful things that make her unique.
