About Me
Meet Skunk, a shy senior cat who is gentle, quiet, and happiest when he has his own safe space to relax and feel secure.
Skunk is naturally very shy and reserved. He doesn’t seek out attention and isn’t comfortable in busy or loud environments. Instead, he prefers calm surroundings where he can settle in slowly, observe quietly, and move at his own pace. He feels safest when he’s allowed to keep some distance and choose when and how he interacts. It is required that Skunk’s adopter will be required to foster-to-adopt for 3 weeks with full support from the behavior team. This will set him up for true success.
As a senior, Skunk needs a peaceful, low-stress home with patient adopters who understand shy cats and are willing to give him time to decompress and adjust. He does best when there’s no pressure for affection just consistency, kindness, and respect for his boundaries.
Skunk may not be a lap cat, but he has the potential to form a quiet, meaningful bond with the right person someone who values gentle companionship and understands that trust takes time. If you’re looking to give a shy senior cat a loving, calm home where he can simply be himself, Skunk is ready for that chance.
