About Me
your future adventure buddy and professional cuddle bug
Sky is a playful, quirky girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Her idea of a perfect day? It starts with cozy morning cuddles (bonus points if she’s tucked completely under a blanket when it’s chilly!) and ends with a well earned snooze belly up after a day full of fun. This happy pup lives for playtime. Tennis balls? She’ll fetch them all day. Stuffed animals? Instant joy. Tug-of-war? Game on. She also loves treat puzzle toys that keep her mind busy and her tail wagging. When she’s not playing, you’ll find her on neighborhood patrol keeping watch out the window, sniffing every interesting scent on walks, or chasing squirrels and bunnies like it’s her full-time job.
Sky is smart and eager to learn she already knows “sit” and “paw,” and while “stay” and “down” are still works in progress, she’s trying her best! She’d thrive with someone who enjoys continuing her training and helping her build confidence.
her fosters mentioned “When it comes to people, Sky just needs a little time to feel safe. She can be a bit shy at first, it usually takes her time to warm up and once she does, she’s playful, affectionate, and happy to be part of the fun. Physical affection takes a bit longer, but once you’re in her circle, she loves curling up in laps and soaking up attention.”
A few things to know about Sky:
-Not a fan of cats
-Still figuring out how she feels about other dogs-she plays a bit rough, so a meet-and-greet is important
-Brave watchdog… unless it’s the vacuum (then she’ll let it know who’s boss!)
Sky would do best with a patient, loving adopter who appreciates her playful spirit and gives her the time she needs to fully shine. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who will make you laugh, keep you active, and snuggle up close at the end of every day.
