Harry and Hermione are a bonded pair of magical pups looking for a special home where they can grow, learn, and love-together. Like their namesakes, Harry is brave and emotional, while Hermione is thoughtful and attentive.

Harry can get overwhelmed by new things-people, dogs, or even just the excitement of leaving his kennel! When his emotions bubble over, he may bark or pull, but he’s also incredibly eager to please and responds well to structure, treats, and a patient handler. He checks in often, seeks affection, and just wants to understand how to be his best self.

Hermione is the calmer of the two once she’s out and about. She greets gently, takes treats softly, and settles well after initial excitement. Like Harry, she can get overstimulated in her kennel but shines once she’s out on a walk or relaxing in a quiet space. She’s affectionate, sweet, and observant-and when you sit with her, you can almost see the wheels turning as she figures things out.

These two would benefit from structure, positive reinforcement, and some continued training-but they are already well on their way! Our volunteers have had great success using treats, gentle redirection, and teamwork to support them. Harry and Hermione are looking for a home that understands that big hearts sometimes come with big feelings-and that helping dogs feel safe, understood, and loved is one of the most rewarding journeys you can take.
