The Animal Welfare League of Arlington will participate in the 2nd Annual Arlington Gifts That Give Hope Alternative Gift Fair on Saturday, December 8, from 10am – 2pm at Calvary United Methodist Church at 2315 S. Grant Street in Arlington.
An alternative gift fair is a change from traditional store-bought gift-giving, and instead provides meaningful gifts that change lives in the community and directly benefits our organization. Shoppers can support the League by giving a gift such as “a heartworm test for a dog in the shelter” or “the spay or neuter of a shelter cat, dog, or rabbit”. Your gift recipients will receive a beautiful holiday card explaining the donation made in their honor. This year’s fair will feature gift-giving opportunities from 15 participating nonprofit organizations. Gifts range from $5 to $250.
Children can learn the true meaning of giving while shopping at the Children’s Gift Fair featuring $5 gift items perfect for teachers and grandparents. Santa will stop by the fair from 11am-1:30pm to visit with children. There will be face-painting, crafts, snacks and live holiday music.
We hope you can help support the League this holiday season. Please visit www.giftsthatgivehope.org/arlington for more information or to shop online now through December!
Thanks for your support!!
