Because of you, Cash was reunited with his mom.
Cash is a happy-go-lucky, sweet dog who came to our shelter through our H.E.L.P. (Housing Emergency Lifeline for Pets) Program. Cash’s mom experienced a medical emergency and, during that difficult time, needed assistance caring for her beloved companion. For two weeks, Cash stayed with us, receiving nourishment, care, and lots of love.
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to provide a safe, comforting place for Cash until his mom could welcome him home. When the time came, Cliff Ballena, our Director of Community Resources, went to retrieve a happy Cash from the kennels: “As I walked Cash to be reunited with his mom, his tail wagged faster with each step, as if he already knew who we were going to see. When he excitedly jumped into her arms, both of their smiles made my day. I am so grateful we can offer this kind of support for families when they need it most.”
