Diane is a New England native who moved to the DC area for law school and never left. Her legal practice centered on low-income housing tax credit transactions, but her main focus was on raising her three daughters and rescuing many mutts over the years. She served for six years on the Board of AWLA and now volunteers once a week doing administrative work at the shelter. Of course, Diane visits. the dog. kennels after every shift. In her retirement, Diane enjoys fostering dogs (50 so far!), spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling with her husband.
