Oreo’s adoption fee is WAIVED thanks to a generous donation!
Oreo is a laid back, chill little gentleman who has been through more than his fair share. He arrived at our shelter with his beloved sibling, Peanut. Sadly, Peanut arrived with fatal chest tumor.
With time, patience, and lots of encouragement, we’ve watched this sweet boy make incredible progress. He has even participated in our Paws & Read program multiple times, happily spending time with children and showing us that he’s capable of building trust and enjoying new experiences and we truly believe that with patience, consistency, and more positive experiences, this sweet guy will continue to flourish.
Oreo isn’t necessarily going to be your “love me immediately!” bunny and honestly, that’s part of what makes him so special. He takes a little time to decide if you’re worthy of his friendship. Once you’ve earned his trust, though? Prepare for the loaf. He enjoys siting like a little loaf of bread.
Oreo loves settling in, relaxing, and enjoying some well deserved head and ear scratches. He’s the kind of bunny who reminds you that the best relationships are sometimes the ones you have to take your time building
