Welcome to 2022, everyone!
We did it! Another turbulent year is behind us. We felt your support every step of the way and I wanted to share some numbers so you can see the true impact you’ve had on your community!
In 2021, you ensured:
- 2,721 dogs, cats, and small animals found loving homes
- 1,897 animals spent time in foster homes
- 1,488 pets were transferred to AWLA from shelter & rescue partners
- 1,522 pets and their families received food and supplies through the Pet Pantry program
- $75,426 was granted to pet parents who needed assistance with emergency and chronic vet care
And on top of all that, the Animal Control Team received and responded to 2,700 wildlife-related calls!
Time and again you prove that together we are all in for animals.
