Holiday Giving Tree

Looking for a way to give back this holiday season? Support our Holiday Giving Tree!

From Nov 24th to Dec 31st, stop by the shelter and check out our Giving Tree. Each ornament features an opportunity to support animals in need. These include:

  • Donations for shelter pets:  Make a donation to provide kibble and care for shelter animals.$5 feeds a dog for one day, $35 pays for a microchip for a cat, $185 helps a rabbit receive dental care…every dollar counts! Donate online at Giving Tree, by mail, or in person at the shelter.
  • Gifts for shelter pets:  Purchase a gift for a dog, cat, or small companion animal and place it under the tree for them to open over the holidays! If you can’t make it to the shelter to pick out an ornament, you can purchase a gift from our Amazon wishlist!
  • Gifts for pets in need in our community:  Help fill the stocking of a pet in need in our community! Anyone can fall on hard times; this is why AWLA works with local pet parents in need to ensure that their pets are fed and cared for until they can get back on their feet. We have a few families who could use a little extra help filling their pets’ stockings this year – stop by the shelter, pick one (or two) of their ornaments, purchase the gift(s) and put it in their specially labeled box next to our tree. We’ll collect their gifts and deliver them over the holidays! If you’d like to help out but can’t make it to the shelter, email our Giving Tree Elf at – we’ll help make it happen!

AWLA’s Giving Tree is generously sponsored by KSJ & Associates!
