Join Team Rescue Tails, the official athletic club for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, in our first monthly “Fund Run/Walk.” These monthly walks will help support the Woody and Mickey Healthy Pet Fund, a fund that pays for emergency medical care for shelter pets. The first Fund Run will take place Saturday, March 19 and leaves from the shelter, 2650 S. Arlington Mill Drive. See the full run/walk route.
Check-in for the event begins at 9:30 am and the run/walk begins at 10 am. Stop back at the shelter after your run or walk to enjoy some refreshments at the League! After participating in four of our monthly runs/walks you will be rewarded with a Team Rescue Tails t-shirt! Please note: strollers and children under the age of 18 are permitted to run or walk, but must be accompanied by an adult. Also, only two-legged runners allowed this time, please do not bring your four legged running friends. Thank you for your understanding!
