Born in Hannover, Germany, Claudia immigrated to the U.S. with her family during her early childhood. Prior to joining the League in October 2008, Claudia left the private sector and worked as a mission driven HR leader for diverse non-profit organizations including Reading Partners, Earth Island Institute and the Child Development Institute. She has always loved all animals and can’t think of a better career than combining her professional experience with her personal passion by supporting the people who dedicate their lives to caring for shelter animals.
